Elena L. also celebrates her birthday on June 22nd; and

FELLOWSHIP Meal
Our June Fellowship Meal will occur on June 4th, being the first Sunday of the month. The meal will take place in the fellowship hall immediately following the morning service. Remember, there will be no evening service on the first Sunday of the month.
CHILDREN’S Special Presentation
The children’s Sunday school class will bless the congregation with a special presentation this coming Sunday, June 4th. Please keep our children in prayer for this blessed event.
CBC Bylaws
Our current CBC Bylaws, which includes our Statement of Faith, were adopted at our Annual Business Meeting on February 21st, 2021. The new Bylaws & Statement of Faith supersedes the church constitution & statement of faith (adopted April 30, 1963). A motion was made, seconded, and carried unopposed to read the current bylaws & statement of faith to the congregation. Also adopted was our “Statement in Defense of Biblical Marriage and Policies Thereof.”
The bylaws are contained in a 23-page document and the marriage statement is contained in 4 pages; so, beginning on June 4th, & each Sunday following, I will read 2-3 pages from our bylaws & marriage statement at the end of our Sunday announcements until we’ve read through all 27 pages.
Our Statement of Faith can be read online here.
Our Marriage Statement can be read online here.
HEARTCRY Missionary Society
In May, we enjoyed a visit from Don & Cindy Currin (Don Currin Ministries & HeartCry Missionary Society). While their time with us was blessed and rich, we did not have enough time to show a video presentation from HeartCry. Below are two videos worth watching.
The first is a 11-minute presentation about Papua, Indonesia by Paul Snider, who ministered to the Korowai people for several years until diseases from the jungle nearly took his life. The second is 27-minute interview between HeartCry founder, Paul Washer, and Paul Snider.
Both Pauls, Snider and Washer, have been precious friends and encouragers to me since I first met them in 2010.
